Rep. Winters' Partners with Passages Hospice to Make Farmer's Dream Come True

Representative Dave Winters (68th District) has partnered with Passages Hospice to help make a dream come true for a local hospice patient.  Rep. Winters, a private pilot and farmer, will spend a high-flying afternoon with Rockford resident and farmer Maynard “Skee” Bye.

Representative Winters will take an aerial tour of Bye’s farm, with Bye as the honorary co-pilot.  Rep. Winters has volunteered his time, since flight and farming are both very close to his heart.

“We both share a passion for flying and farming, and I am honored to be able to provide this memorable experience to such a highly respected member of the community,” said Rep. Winters.  “I think this will be an extraordinary moment for Mr. Bye, and hopefully bring back a number of great memories from his days on the farm.”
